This light really wasn't hard to assemble; the directions are clear and there is an informative video on You Tube with a person demonstrating the assembly. But I had trouble keeping all the arms straight. I somehow crossed a couple and had to take off the nuts and try again. If you are assembling this one by yourself, you might consider taking a piece of tape and numbering the hole and a corresponding number on each arm of the light fixture. Matching the numbers will make things go quickly and accurately. I love this chandelier because it is dressy but not too formal. I was uncertain if the diameter would be too small based on internet recommendations, but it fills the room with light and doesn't overpower my table. There are five possible lengths to hang it from the ceiling, so you can choose how low you want it to be as well. The dimmable option lets you adapt brightness for the time of day or event. (This photo shows it at about 75%). For the most part, it was easy to put together and install. Let me start off by saying this light is GORGEOUS. BUT, for Canadian standards, this light cannot be installed. It doesn’t not meet requirements. I needed to pay an extra $300 for an electrician to rewire. There was no ground wire included when delivered and a replacement canopy never arrived. The hanging kit sent was impossible for my electrician to use. He needed a separate bracket and screws in order to hold the chandelier up in the ceiling. It was a mess to rewire and install.
