The good Overall, it’s a great looking piece and the fan works surprisingly very well! When not in use the fan blades are barely visible and tuck away. kind of like a beetle’s wings would cling close to its body and then when the fan turns on the wings come out and circulate air really well. My son‘s room gets cold with it on despite the Texas summer! The bad - The manufacturers instructions are absolutely horrible and you cannot find assistance on their website. - I was also disappointed that the remote does not allow me to dim the lightbulbs even though they are dimmable bulbs. - You have to use the remote and your existing switches need to remain in the “on” position, but otherwise are functionally obsolete - One of the glass globes did not have the threaded piece attached so it could not be put on. The other globe had the threads attached, but it was in a damaged way so that the threads did not screw on all the way and the globe broke off. The threads are now stuck and will not come off. Unfortunately, all of the globes and arms are tied together and meet in the center so there is no way to remove only one of the arms and replace it. Therefore, I will need to replace the bottom portion which includes all of the light fixture component as well as need two globes with the threaded pieces intact. I contacted Customer Service, and hopefully this will be easily addressed.. Stephanie. TX. Fri Jun 19 2026

What a WONDERFUL chandelier/fan and what a cool concept! So glad I stumbled across this beautiful solution for my daughter's room! It's beautiful and sophisticated. But also extremely functional (even with the smaller fan)! First of all, this is super easy to install... it's literally just connecting the live, neutral, and ground wires to the house wires and that's it! IMPORTANT NOTE: the instructions say to attach a receiver part (which you will think isn't in the box -- because it's not)... but you do NOT need that part, and can literally just skip that part of the instructions. Believe me, I thought it was missing too, told wayfair, they sent a replacement, then the new box was missing it too, so I tried installing it without it, and it worked! Anyways, the gold color is PERFECT for my daughter's Monet-inspired room. The "cracked ice" shades are beautiful. The crystal clear fan is PERFECT both aesthetically (to not broadcast there's a fan in this chandelier) but also it works great and has 6 speeds! I also love that in winter you can reverse the fan direction and pull the heat upwards to circulate it -- brilliant! P.S. the fan is ridiculously QUIET which is so awesome! The remote comes with it's own wall attachment holder, which makes it easy to find quickly and not lose. Overall, just the perfect solution and she LOVES it!. Megan. US. Fri Jun 26 2026

The 42-inch Modern Farmhouse Retractable Ceiling Fan masterfully blends timeless farmhouse charm with advanced functionality, inviting glow perfect for rustic, coastal, or contemporary decors. Its innovative retractable clear blades discreetly vanish when not in use for a sleek, uncluttered look. The included reversible quiet DC motor delivers powerful, whisper-quiet airflow across 6 speed settings, provides downward cooling in the summer and upward warmth circulation in the winter for year-round use, with all operations conveniently controlled via remote, including timing options and light adjustment. An ideal and stylish centerpiece for your living room, bedroom, office, or dining area.

This is a great looking fan, with or without the fabric shade! I choose to install it without the shade to give it more of an industrial modern appearance, and I don’t think it’s lacking anything. I bought some decorative Edison bulbs and I’m very happy with it. The fan assembly was straightforward out of the box. However… the install to the ceiling was difficult as the instructions are completely worthless (I don’t know why they even bothered creating them). It took some trail and error but eventually I found that you have to install the remote box before connecting any wires. There is a metal support wire that connects to nothing and not sure why it’s included as it only gets in the way. Overall I recommend the fan, but you will need general knowledge of install to get it into place.. Vanessa. Richmond, VA. Sun Sep 27 2026

8.10.26--I had this fan installed by a handyman. He put it together in no time. There were no reviews on this unit, and quite frankly I was hesitant to purchase it as I ALWAYS read reviews to make an assessment of the reviews and the product. This fan is BEAUTIFUL & UNIQUE in appearance. It has a remote control and the DC motor is very quiet. The package also contains a pair of white gloves to assist in the fan installation. I have this fan established in my bedroom, I'm considering purchasing this fan for my living room too.. Anonymous. Mon Aug 17 2026

Very easy to install, and I love the perfect flat-black finish. It blends well with any decor and gives the room a modern look. I also really like that it has six different fan speeds, which is perfect for keeping cool during this hot Texas weather! The only thing I wish it had was more than two lights. They are bright, but I would have preferred four lights for even more brightness.. Christina. Amarillo, TX. Mon Aug 24 2026
