These are very well made and the black is a true black. Very beautiful. Lovely shades! Quality is wonderful and they arrived well boxed, in protective covering and perfect condition. They are sleek and the interior is a beautiful golden foil. The seams can hardly be detected. They have a double gold colored clip on attachment that gives them support and I'm happy that they sit straight on my candelabra bulbs. These are larger/longer which was important to me and hard to find -- can't stand having a light bulb starring me in the face.
