It's a beautiful fan! We bought two, one for our bedroom and one for a back room that does not get much air circulation. The glass dome is very pretty and filters the light nicely. Make sure you get smaller bulbs with lower watts, standard light bulbs do not fit within the dome and higher wattage bulbs (over 60w) produced rather harsh light. I searched for the internet for several fans this color and size. I finally landed on this Hunter one. I loved everything about it. My husband installed it without any trouble. We absolutely love it. The light is the perfect color, not too yellow and not too white-like most LED lights can be. The only downside would be the remote. It only has up and down arrows and the remote does not have a holder for the wall. We tend to loose remotes easily in our household so that is a negative point for us. The fans themselves are beautiful and work very well in our home. Installation was a pain, even for my dad who has installed many light fixtures and fans. The very last part of install was the light and there were two male connections instead of a male female, but just cut the end off and hardwired it not a big deal. This modern white fan is so much better looking than our outdated brown fan! It is sleek and since we have it attached to switches in our bedroom, we didn't even need to install the pull-chains. My husband has installed several fans and said this one wasn't the easiest to install. I love the look of it BUT the light is truly laughable. It is like a spotlight....shines directly downward and does not emit any light to the sides so basically we just have one spotlight in the middle of our room. Thankfully we have other light sources in our room so this will do for now. If you're looking for a fan with a light that will brighten up the whole room, this is not the one.. Kallen.
