We got two strings of these lights in different lengths. They are great! They covered our entire back yard and wrapped up and down our stairs. They provide our back yard with that perfect ambient lighting for fall evenings. They are heavy so standard light rods needed to be zip tied to our fence. They are holding up good. The solar feature is so nice. There are timers and 8 different modes. I do think it’s silly that normal mode is the last of 8 options but we love these lights. Easy to put up with my husband. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These lights are so cute! They create a great ambiance, and love that they are solar powered. My only complaints are they only work once it is pitch black outside. And installing the solar panel was a bit inconvenient. They have lasted really well on my back porch. The clips are nice but I also had to use some adhesive light hooks as well. All in all would buy again. The lights are lightweight and plastic so I don’t have to worry about them falling and shattering!. Kateb. Fri Oct 09 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these strong lights. I used them and string them up above my fire pit. They are durable because I dropped them a couple times and they didn’t even scratch, still worn perfectly. I like that they are good size bulbs but not giant or tiny. They are good and bright and it all works easily. Just plug em and let the sun charge.. Ja82. Tue Oct 06 2026

The solar panel collects direct sunlight all day and lights at dusk for 6-7 hours. These colorful light strands create a beautiful ambiance any way you use them.

I ordered this lantern light string in the pink color, and used them for a patio party. They worked great. I was able to attach them to our wysteria vine using clothespins, to drape them across our garage, on the patio side. The on-off switch was perfect, and I just had to turn on the switch, once it was dark. They provided extra lighting, as well as a festive atmosphere, and looked very cute hanging above our garage door, in the vine. Paired them with other solar-powered lights both on the ground, as well as fairy string lights in our bushes. The bright pink added a great touch of color. I definitely would recommend these - they are fun and add a creative touch to your decorating. The lantern size globe is nice in the large size. I also ordered a smaller globe that did not work out as well as these, so was very glad to have this nicely designed lantern string, and love the choice of color.. Jacquie. MD. Tue Oct 29 2019
