These are great. I was working on my parents landscape updating them with some upgraded outdoor light from their previous plastic version. Another awesome product. I'm really impressed by the outdoor lighting I've ordered. Solid finish. You can tuck extra cable inside the plastic housing at the base of the fixture, including the electrical connection point. I wrap my connections in electrical tape for extra water tightness but you maybe able to get away with out having too. I like the screw down connectors (I'd wear gloves to make it easier to tighten down) because they are easy to use and seem to hold the connection taught. I used these at the base of shrubs in my yard and my parents. The first picture, the lights on the far right and left are the in-ground lights to highlight a Maple & a Witch Hazel. One is buried in mulch/soil and the other in grass/soil. Both work super well to highlight the trees. In the second photo, again the two far right and far left are the in-ground, both in soil/mulch. I had the opportunity to try this eight pack of cold white LED ground lights through the Wayfair tried and true program. We have a very large yard. We’ve done some serious renovation over the past two years and now it’s time to enhance it just a little bit. We put up a lovely retaining wall and we’ve landscape it accordingly I wanted to make it pop just a little bit and I put these lights along the perimeter of my edging. They were super easy to put out. A super easy install with one little part to attach. And on and off switch as well as batteries and these are ready to go. They come with a full compliment of instructions as well. I could not be happier. They are solar powered, and as soon as the sun goes down, the lights go on. They lie really close to the ground and they are not really big or obnoxious and size. Overall, I’m extremely happy and I would absolutely get another set of eight to further trim out my yard.
