Decent fan for the price. Instructions were very basic without a great deal of detail. Had to do some research on the web to clarify wiring questions. But, all in all, assembly was not difficult and the fan seems to be quiet and has several speed andlighting modes. Remote is useful. Tips: 1. If your outlet has red, black, and white wires, only the black and white are connected to fan; cap the red with a wire nut. 2. Green and yellow wire on bracket connects to ground. 3. You may need to replace two existing screws on motor with longer screws in order to secure the ceiling cover. 4. A flat screw driver set is very helpful in securing those two screws because the space between the cover and motor housing is tight. 5. Some bolt holes were too small for the bolts supplied. This little fan has a lot of features for the price. I bought a white one to replace a big clunky old fan. This compact, low profile fan creates a big breeze for its size. It instantly modernized my bedroom and was easy to install. The light changes color temperature and has a dimmer, both features I LOVE!! You can see in the photos how the light color can be changed from cool to warm. My husband said the fan is plastic and a little chintzy, but in my opinion, a lightweight ceiling fan is a good quality. It works great and is quiet. Good fan, silent, good speeds. Only problem is the light. It's huge, and on an 8 foot ceiling, it's hard to have it on fully (even 15% is hard on the eyes).
