This light is easy to install and gives off great light. The light base is larger than a standard ceiling outlet box to cover any imperfections in the sheetrock. You can put it over the fireplace to illuminate an artwork or shine light on a statue in the corner of the room. You can also use it to light up a small pantry, a kitchen island, or a laundry room. Some people even use it as a carriage light on the porch or put it on a covered patio. It looks so great at night with a nice, crisp light that is so clean and bright.

The reason we didn’t give it 5 stars is because the inner lining of the shades are golden therefore, if you use white light bulbs, you’ll still get a sunlit golden glow and not a ‘bright’ white (even if you use a bright white LED bulb).
