These work okay for me, they're cute and all, but it's not quite the "warm white" I was expecting. These are a very clear white. The battery pack at the end of the string is also the size of a 1990's pager. I was looking for something to use inside mini lanterns, but don't think these will quite work because of the size of the "pager." I'm going to keep them, though. This is a lovely lantern. I’m actually surprised it arrived mostly intact. One of the glass sides was not even attached and was loose! A small sliver at the bottom was broken off but that’s it! I was able to secure it like it should be and you can’t even tell the broken piece. It appears it was never secure initially as the part that bends down to secure it was never bent down. How that glass didn’t break further is beyond me. This is a well made lantern. I’m using it inside as I’m redecorating in a Victorian Gothic theme.
