It looks fantastic. The only criticism I have is that the chord on the base is positioned at the front of the lamp, instead of the back. I tried multiple times reassembling it to make it positioned towards the back but gave up. Maybe I did something wrong. The base is out of sight anyway, but it does bug my OCD a bit. This lamp arrived quickly and with no damage or missing parts. It looks great and I love the dimmer control. I also love that you can angle the shade/light to your desired spot. It's great for reading! As much as this lamp looks great and I love it, I did have 2 issues. 1 - The shade!!! It is so hard to put together! It took me a long time, and I had to keep checking the Wayfair ad's user photos to see how others did it. The instructions on how to build the shade were not very detailed. They were missing key steps. 2 - On the base, there is a nice triangular gold detail, but it moves! So I really like this lamp first of all. It is the perfect height for my son. Its gold finish gives it a nice classic look to it. I loved that it has a step on and off peddle no need to reach to turn it on. I was trying to make my son a small little readingdrawing nook area to do what he enjoys the most. I was just not expecting that the top was glass and I accidentally broke one of the pieces so instead of 3 glass rings it has 2 in the picture.
