I have been looking for just the right pieces to enhance the area over my mantel and these fit the bill. Installation entails using two screws to apply a plate which the lights fit over. It took around four hours to charge them initially; I can't speak to how well they hold a charge as we didn't really purchase them for extra light. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light sconce looks nice and I didn’t expect less from Kohler. I’ve always been satisfied with the items I get from Kohler. The sconce doesn’t feel cheap and has a good weight to it. I believe the light cover is glass, so it’s going to be fragile, but the material itself is pretty thick. It’s also not too big or small and I think it’s great for hallways or bathrooms. Instructions are extremely simple. As long as you have a place that can be hardwired, the sconce can be installed easily. It does require a lightbulb that isn’t included and it is the very small ones. The instructions state that the light can be dimmable as long as the bulb is dimmable, which is great. Once installed, the light isn’t too bright or dark- it is just right.. Anonymous.
