There were family members taking refuge in my house and it was starting to get dark. To pass the time we were playing board games, by the light of battery powered lanterns hanging from my light fixtures. Then I remembered I had these lights in vases on my mantle. We decided to be goofy and used the lights to help us keep track of playing pieces. The color changing was just a bonus to add to the distraction we all needed, The power came on before the batteries wore out so I can’t speak to the longevity. However they are bright!
