My husband wanted an extra bright light that would allow him to see through his helmet while welding, and this product fits the bill. It is bright enough to guide ships into a harbor! It could easily illuminate a huge warehouse. While it’s almost more industrial than residential, it’s perfect for our needs - but when I say it’s bright, I mean BLINDINGLY bright, such that you won’t want to look directly into it! The light is meant to be hardwired, but my husband added a plug so he can move it to different areas as needed. He also added the hang hook seen in photos these did not come with the light. Four Stars would have been but after opening the installation hardware boxes and then trying to use the toggle bolts I FOUND THEM DEFECTIVE!! They would not tighten as most toggle bolts do. No I did not over tighten. Buyer beware check each toggle bolt before assembly. I had to purchase my own toggle bolts 24 of them at 0.95 cents each .
