Happy with this choice after reviewing so many options. I like the width of the openings for the compost and that you simply slide the doors out and switched them to indicate which barrel is starting and which is finishing. I like that they spin independently. Considered a more expensive one with a wheelbarrow underneath, and I think that would have been money wasted. Happy with price and functionality. No problems with shipping or assembly. Easy peasy.

Use every day very good to have

This thing is amazing. Easy to assemble, breaks down food scraps super fast, easy to spin. I do wish it was like counterweighted a little to make the opening stay fully at the top but easy to keep the opening generally at the top. Also, very beae proof - had a young black bear try to get in for 20 minutes and his claws didn’t even make a dent!

I’m so excited for it to do it’s job! It’s so wonderful having some place to put the veggie scraps coffee tea grinds! No more waste and I’m going to have great compost for my plants!!!

Love the design and the ease of use. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged - the green steel legs had been packed in a box with no protective styrofoam or cushioning. So they are all scratched and the paint is flaking off - which means rust. Replacement parts have been ordered. The other unfavorable thing is the way the door opens - slides - letting compost escape.

This is a very sturdy item, and well put together. For the life of me, I couldn’t figure out how to make compost with it. I read all the articles possible and followed the rules but after a season we ended up going to trench composting instead. I would say if you know how to compost, and you’ve been successful at it before, then this is a fine composter. The doors stuck a little bit at times and required some forced to open it up, and it did seem like it got really wet in there. I am using it to store food waste in winter when trenching is impossible.

I love this product! I've used composters for over 20 years but this is by far the best design I've ever seen. Tumbling is the most effective way to work compost but large tumbling drums are heavy making them difficult to turn. The excessive weight also stresses the tumbler so that they don't last as long as you'd expect. All of that is corrected with this design!!

We have been using this a few months now. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. We are turning lawn clippings and garden trimmings and kitchen scraps into soil amendments. They shrink a lot in the process.

We've tried several composting ideas but this tops them all. Easy to set up, use and has a small footprint in the yard.
