Had we gone with the 13" we wouldn't have to touch up paint around it, but I also like that they aren't that noticeable and something bigger might have been too obtrusive as this is just a small rectangle between multiple rooms. Replaced 2 8 foot flourescent garage ceiling mount lights. Not user friendly with respect to mounting on ceiling where existing wiring penetrates. Had to do some rigging to get them to mount, but after installation the fixtures produce better uniform lighting than the flourescents. Hope to see some energy efficiency as well.. Noel. Mcdavid, FL.
