BUYER BEWARE, this shade material is cheap and flimsy and appeared to be glued together to the frame of the drum. When I removed the plastic it fell apart. The base is sturdy but the shade is made of thin plastic, NOT WORTH THE COST AT ALL. I requested a refund.

The lamp looks beautiful in my living room. It's tall which is perfect for over the couch placement. The seem where the shade comes together looks slightly separated. I would have like to have a more finished appearance at the seem. Otherwise it's an excellent product!
