This light isn’t fully what I expected once installed. I used it to update my mud room lighting. I thought it would be more flush against the ceiling, but it isn’t designed that way. The directions were very poor but I’m somewhat familiar with installing light fixtures. I like the rope texture of the light, and the large size, and how much light it gives off, but not the ceiling gap. I unfortunately don’t think this light will remain permanent in my mudroom.. Jenny. This light is perfect for my new tv room. It looks great and comes completely assembled, you just have to install it. It took me about 45 minutes to get the other light off and this one in. The textured fabric is beautiful. Totally worth the price! If I had to change something I would switch out the diffuser.
