Not all that great. The base has an indent in the top, the “gold” colors are mismatched, the knob to adjust the arm does not hold well. I’d love to return this, however even if the item isn’t as advertised or expected you have to pay return shipping which is a joke. If you are considering this light, pass… poor quality.

This desk light is fabulous. Light bulb was, also, included.

The Courtois desk lamp helps complete my renovated home office. It provides ample area lighting without being too bright. I did switch out the LED light shipped with the unit with a LED light bulb that stays cool when being used. The lamp is very sturdy and functional. The on/off switch is on the cord and is a much more durable switch than is typically found on lamp power cords. I've included a photo for reference. I do recommend this lamp.

Returned because it arrived broken. Decided not to repurchase because it was bigger than expected.

Looks great, but the twist knob on the side to lower and raise the lamp does not work well.
