[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to past slow cookers models I’ve had, this one is much more uniquely designed. Set up is more than easy and there aren’t a bunch of miniature pieces to clean. Personally I clean mine after each use instead of allowing the food to sit so it doesn’t create that harsh buildup around the edges. The best part about the slow cooker to me is the auto warming feature. Past appliances I’ve used, some would require that I manually change the temperature. I don’t feel pressured to have to check my meals every 5 minutes since the feature is in place. The party dipper is a hit too! It’s makes just the right amount of dip or sauce so that none goes to waste and you can also remove the inner bowl as well. Perfectly sized to create meals for the largest of family holidays.. Nesco's everyday slow cooker makes mealtime and entertaining more flavorful. This oval slow cooker can cook up delicious 1-2 person meals, appetizers, sauces, and dips. The adjustable temperature control dial offers a keep-warm setting to accommodate a busy lifestyle.

This is the perfect slow cooker for dips. It's been hard to find the right size with a high cook setting. The 1/2 and 2/3 quart cookers are marketed for dips but if you're actually making the dip from scratch then you need a little more room to fit all the ingredients before they cook down. Also, those sizes are basically just warmers because they don't have a high cook setting. The quality is fantastic. The temperature control is labeled well and easy to use. For safety's sake, a red light illuminates while in use and the handles stay cool to the touch. The lid is great. It's clear glass and has a vent hole. I love that I can see how everything is coming together without having to lift the lid and let all the heat escape. I've only had mine for a month so I can't really vouch for durability but I do attest that mine still looks and works like brand new. I highly recommend this Nesco slow cooker. The quality, features, and affordability are impressive.. Nancy. Clarksville, TN. Wed Feb 10 2021

The BLACK+DECKER™ 7-Quart Digital Slow Cooker with Temperature Probe + Precision Sous-Vide gives you three ways to cook. 1.) Classic slow cooking is simple in the 7-quart stoneware crock. Just add in the ingredients and let the low, constant heat go to work on roasts, soups, chilis, and so much more! 2.) Use the temperature probe to achieve ideal results on a variety of proteins. Just set the desired temperature, insert the probe into the meat, and the slow cooker will do the rest. 3.) For restaurant-quality results without the hassle or guesswork, use the Sous-Vide Function. Just arrange single servings of food inside the resealable bags, set the time and temperature based on what you’re cooking and the level of doneness you prefer, and then insert the temperature probe into the water. The sous-vide method helps prevent overcooking by heating the water that surrounds the food, bringing it to the desired internal temperature. When slow cooking, three heat settings give you options to find the best temperature for your schedule—Low for 8-9 hours of cooking, High for 3-4 hours, and Warm for keeping food at the ideal serving temperature. Plus, cleanup is easy thanks to the dishwasher-safe stoneware pot and tempered glass lid.

well I was very excited to get this since I will be needing it for my Christmas dinner. it is much bigger than I expected and Ill probably be re-gifting it to my daughter who does more entertaining than I do. it will more than suffice for my purposes for Christmas dinner. overall the product meets or exceeds my expectations except for a couple minor flaws in the paint dipping department, they are not chips or cracks just spots that did not fare well with the paint. this is a very versatile piece of equipment and I like that each crock has its own setting. the lid rests which are included dont seem to sit very well in the provided holes so that might be a problem but I dont foresee that happening. if you do any amount of entertaining this is definitely something you want possibly to just set things up and cook for 4 to 6 hours or even keep things warm for a couple three four hours. after reading the booklet it does say that the lids are not dishwasher safe but since Im the dishwasher I can wash them by hand, the crocs are safe for the dishwasher per the instructions. I also want to give kudos to the manufacturing company for sourcing out products that are green for the environment the top wattage on this is only 300 watts with as little as 70 watts for the warm feature as compared to some countertop cookers which are 1,000 watts and over..
