Set up is more than easy and there aren’t a bunch of miniature pieces to clean. Personally I clean mine after each use instead of allowing the food to sit so it doesn’t create that harsh buildup around the edges. The best part about the slow cooker to me is the auto warming feature. Past appliances I’ve used, some would require that I manually change the temperature. I love that it's a large 7 quart size because when I use a slow cooker I love to make extras so that I have leftovers. I recently cooked a pot roast in it and was able to throw in lots of carrots and potatoes because of its roomy size. This model has a unique feature of a locking lid and it's great for traveling so that nothing spills while it's in the back of your car. It does a pretty good job. Things to know 1 it does smoke up the house a little. I use it under my exhaust fan. 2 do not over load the wood. To much smoke is nasty. Use at half full until you are sure how much you want on specific foods. Adjust as you get used to the smoker. 3 its not an outdoor smoker and doesn't perform like one but does a fair job. Anonymous.
