Sandwich Press Non-Stick Grill Pan. Inspired by a recent trip to Europe, where warm, melty cheese toasties are a regular item on cafe menus year round. Grilled cheese sandwiches are the ultimate comfort food and Nordic Ware knew there was a better way to make them building from the design principles and success of stove top waffle pans, Nordic Ware created this cast pan with 2 interlocking hinged halves. Preheat both sides, then place your sandwich inside and squeeze the handles together to cook from both top and bottom. When foods are heated from above and below, the result is a dramatically reduced cooking time and when it comes time to flip the sandwich, the pan keeps both halves firmly held together to prevent messes and burned fingertips. The diagonal ribbed design on the inside of this pan will sear your sandwich with flavorful, good-looking grill marks. So simple to clean and store in comparison to a cumbersome electric counter top model and American-made. Not surprisingly, this product also works wonderfully for quickly searing steaks, chops and chicken you’ll be amazed.
