Featured in the set are both the most commonly used everyday knives like a Chef Knife, and Paring Knife, plus additional styles like the Boning Knife and 5” Serrated Utility Knife, to expand your cutlery library with more advanced blades that make easy work of any culinary task at hand. The premium German steel blades are designed to deliver the ideal balance between edge retention and the ability to sharpen the blade while withstanding years of use. The heavy duty forged bolster on the handles help to balance the knife during use while protecting your fingers from sliding forward to the blade itself. The full tang triple riveted handles are ergonomically shaped to provide a secure and comfortable grip. The bolster end of the handle can also be used for crushing garlic, ginger, nuts, and more. The 16-slot cutlery block is made of sustainable Ash wood with Walnut color finish to compliment a wide variety of kitchen designs. This set includes: 8” Chef Knife, 7” Santoku Knife, 8” Carving Knife, 8” Bread Knife, 6” Boning Knife, 5” Serrated Utility Knife, 3.5” Paring Knife, 3.5” Serrated Paring Knife, 6 – 4.5” Steak Knives, 10” Sharpening Steel, Kitchen Shears, and an Ash wood block. The six steak knives are partially serrated to cut through any type of steak. The cutlery is dishwasher safe, but we highly recommend only handwashing cutlery to protect the metal and prevent the cutting edges of the blades from getting damaged in the dishwasher. This Farberware Knife Block features EdgeKeeper Technology that automatically sharpens the straight-edge knives with every use. Built-in ceramic sharpeners hone the blades whenever they are removed from the block and replaced, ensuring your knives are at peak sharpness every time you use them. Ceramic sharpeners are less abrasive than alternative materials and will gently sharpen knives resulting in a finer edge. This not only saves you time but is a safer, more efficient way to sharpen your knives 13-piece set includes an 8-inch chef knife, an 8-inch slicing knife, a 5-inch chef knife with kullens, a 5-1/2 inch serrated utility knife, a 3-1/2 inch paring knife, six 4-1/2 inch steak knives, all-purpose shears, and a black rubberwood storage block. Hand-wash knives with warm water and a mild detergent then rinse and dry immediately.

Incredibly sharp, the built-in sharpener is appreciated. The aluminum handles make the knives a little too lightweight for my preference. When the directions say not to sit near water or use in the dishwasher, and to dry right away when washing, they mean it. One knife already has small rust spots from drying on the dish rack. Great knives, but wish they were heavier/more dense.. Ken. Lanham, MD. Fri Sep 25 2026
