This set is the most user-friendly knife. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip with the thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The chef's knife blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Zwilling JA Henckelsstern cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip.

I love these knives. The block looks amazing on my counter top. The knives themselves are very sharp, from other reviews I see complaints of rusting, but Ive owned knives from Zwilling in the past and you must dry them immediately after handwashing, and a thin coat of oil for protection doesnt hurt. Take care of your knives people!. Gianna. Charlotte, NC. Sat Sep 26 2026

Large steak knife! Surprised how much I like these! Bought to put in a vacation rental and ended up keeping for myself. So far holding up in dishwasher but I try to hand wash mostly. They are like a steak knife given at a steakhouse restaurant. They are very large and substantial. You need to have enough space in a drawer to store them. A traditional divider will only hold maybe 2or 3.. Karen. Michigan. Fri Apr 01 2022

Your new 5.5” Utility Knife and 3.5” Paring Knife each have a 4.5” curved handle for a comfy grip, and in balance with the sharp 2.1mm blade. Product was an excellent value for the price paid, appears well made, solid, comfortable handles fit well into your hand with just the right heft. If the blade edge holds up with day to day use, and edge is easy to maintain and keep sharp then this is truly an exceptional value for the price paid. I know that I could have spent a LOT more and perhaps gotten better quality, but these seem to have a great feel to them during use and come with a lifetime warranty. The real test will be edge retention and how often I will need to sharpen them with regular use. I am very happy with my purchase so far, and maybe if you were a professional chef you may require the very best, but for the average home cook, these are extremely nice for the price paid and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family..
