This, for me, is the perfect in-between fit because I like temperature control and our All-Clad pans stay hot for a pretty long time. This pan, on the other hand, is very responsive but still retains heat, so it hits the sweet spot in terms of size (not splashing all over the counter because the pan is pretty big), weight (because it feels a lot lighter than our equivalent All-Clad Copper Core), and responsiveness (in terms of turning down the heat or adjusting up and down as you're cooking multiple items in a frying pan). I just love this addition to our family!. Juergen. Florida. Fri Sep 18 2026

Experience the ultimate cooking performance with our high-quality cookware that exceeds expectations.

This purchase was my first experience with ceramic coated pans. I'd only used standard nonstick until now. After extensive searching online I went with Nordic Ware because I know they make quality products, and since the company has been around for a long time I knew if I had any issues with my pans in the future that I could get help, unlike a new trendy brand that might not stay in business. I also appreciate that they're just one state over from me. (Which resulted in my order arriving just a day after I'd placed it!) It's been about a month and my pans are great. I use them several times a week, mainly for simple things like eggs and pancakes. I only use silicone or plastic cooking utensils with them, and clean up is very easy with just a soft sponge and dishsoap. Certain foods, like eggs, still need some butter or other fat to truly slide out (same as my old nonstick pans) but clean up really is effortless. The pans have a good weight to them and are very substantial. Not flimsy feeling at all. The only thing I'd nitpick about with the style of pans I got are with the edges on the metal portion of the handles. They're not necessarily "sharp" but I do wish they were a bit more rounded off for comfort. All in all though so far I'd say these seem like a great product at a very good price.. Anonymous. Looking to replace your current, used frypan? This copper deep skillet has a brilliant exterior and remarkable cooking capacity with nine and a half diameters of cooking space. This is a phenomenal addition to any copper set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the copper look on the outside of the skillet. You can also use it in the oven. It's not recommended for induction style stoves. Also you shouldn't use it on high heat when cooking because the food will burn and stick. It's 8 inches in size perfect for cooking pancakes, eggs, or even a steak.. Keisharenee90_3583. Most nonstick pans are excellent for a year and disappointing by the second. The Alva Maestro Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan is engineered for the cook who uses a pan every single day and expects it to behave the same in month twenty as in week one. A Belgian-designed multi-layer ceramic surface gives clean release on eggs, fish and pancakes with very little oil, and the aluminium core spreads heat edge to edge so omelettes set evenly instead of browning in a ring. The riveted handle stays balanced as the pan fills. Oven safe to 400°F and compatible with every cooktop including induction. Ceramic is nonstick, not no-fat: a little oil, low to medium heat and hand washing are what keep the surface performing. Available in 8, 9.5 and 11 inches and as a 3-piece set. Made without intentionally added PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead or cadmium. Backed by a 10-year limited warranty, built in the Belgian tradition since 1949.

It looks grand. It cost grand. I have yet to use it to see how grand it works for me.. Jo Ann. Gillett, PA. Thu Mar 19 2026
