The Viking 17pc Cutlery Set is designed for the home chef continuing to refine their cutlery handling skills. Featured in the set are both the most commonly used everyday knives like a Chef Knife, and Paring Knife, plus additional styles like the Boning Knife and 5” Serrated Utility Knife, to expand your cutlery library with more advanced blades that make easy work of any culinary task at hand. The premium German steel blades are designed to deliver the ideal balance between edge retention and the ability to sharpen the blade while withstanding years of use. The full tang triple riveted handles are ergonomically shaped to provide a secure and comfortable grip. The bolster end of the handle can also be used for crushing garlic, ginger, nuts, and more. The 16-slot cutlery block is made of sustainable Ash wood with Walnut color finish to compliment a wide variety of kitchen designs. The 11-piece block set features all the knives you need to set your kitchen upright. From the small bird’s beak peeling knife for precise, intricate cuts to the all-rounder 8-inch chef’s knife for slicing and dicing, this set contains the key knives for all tasks, along with kitchen shears and a sharpening steel to keep them in tip-top shape. The set comes housed in a handsome bamboo knife block with 6 extra slots for steak knives. Twin Signature knives are precision stamped from a single piece of proprietary special formula German steel, resulting in lighter weight knives that do not compromise sharpness. Combined with the Zwilling signature ice-hardening technique, these Friodur blades are harder and sharper, they will not stain or chip, and they retain their sharpness longer. To ensure an ideal cutting angle, the sharp laser-controlled edge is honed and hand-finished by the most skilled artisans. The three-rivet handle embedded with the Zwilling logo provides optimum durability.
