I have been eyeing Hestan for a year or more. I know it’s pricey. But for me I am almost 40. My husband and I have been married for over a year and our current pot and pan situation is a mix from our college days and donations from various family members trying to rid of their old pots and pan. You know how that goes. So I have been doing investigations on the best pans in the market. Making my various pro and con lists. I was considering scan pan. But with Hestan. Yes it’s a lot. But I won’t be replacing them in 5-10 years from now. They are meant to last. Per all the reviews. I know I want pan that I put in the dishwasher and don’t have to worry about it being injured from my amateur cooking skills. I love the feel of the pan. The handle all of that. When I picked up the all clads in the store they are too like straight or not like ergonomic for my petite frame. I want to eventually get the whole set of pans. But since we were moving. And my husbands old saucepan had been beaten up and the non stick wearing off. I was like ok time to try the 1.5 qt. I had a wayfair coupon and wedding money to spend. On something that is essential to my kitchen. It has cleaned up beautifully in the dishwasher. I only wash the lid by hand since that isn’t nanobond. The saucepan. Had little water marks coming out of the dishwasher which I don’t mind but they do have a polish they sell if you are displaying your pots. I heated up some brown sugar and butter. Which turned out great. Only tip I got from Hestan when I called about the different pans. Was it you have an electric stove with coils. Turn your stove on and wait 30sec before you place your pan on. I have been mindful of that. The next pot on my list is the 8qt soup pot Can’t wait for that. Teresa. Mon Mar 23 2026

When it comes to making sauce, gravy, or other liquid foods, the saucepan is your go-to. Its high, straight sides lend themselves well to frequent stirring or whisking that comes with making sauces, limiting spilling. And the smaller surface area holds heat well and limits evaporation. As part of our d3 collection, this saucepan features a bonded tri-ply construction made with a responsive aluminum core pressed together with 2 layers of durable, stainless steel around the surface, for fast and even heat. To keep your all-clad looking brand new, we recommend washing your cookware with soap and a sponge instead of the dishwasher. Bonded, engineered, and assembled in the USA.

Its high, straight sides lend themselves well to frequent stirring or whisking that comes with making sauces, limiting spilling. And the smaller surface area holds heat well and limits evaporation. As part of our d5 stainless collection, this saucepan is made with our patented process that bonds 3 layers of stainless steel with 2 layers of aluminum. It distributes heat more evenly and slowly, eliminating hotspots, so your food doesn’t stick or burn. Big enough for cooking my soup or sauces.. George. IL. Tue Mar 11 2025

All-Clad Specialty Items are preferred by professional chefs and gourmet home cooks who enjoy cooking that goes beyond the ordinary, and seek the perfect accessory for every task. This 2 Qt. Stainless Saucepan with lid is fitted with a porcelain double boiler insert. It delivers heat slowly and gently, preventing scorching and separating of delicate ingredients. Using a double boiler with a ceramic insert is preferred when working with chocolate, cream based desserts and sauces. It is also ideal for reheating foods, the insert providing a cushion against high heat that might change the consistency or flavor of the food being reheated.

Used this to melt chocolate for a chocolate babka the day after I received it. Way better than any other double boiler I’ve ever used. I want my whole kitchen set to be all clad!. Teresa. Capitola, CA. Fri Jan 29 2021

GreenPan Venice Pro Saucepans are ideal for both cooking and reheating. The high straight sides and smaller surface area help retain moisture and limit evaporation. The stainless steel lid helps retain heat and moisture while cooking and prior to serving. GreenPan cookware features a nonstick ceramic coating called Thermolon, reinforced with diamonds for added performance, durability, and resilience. Thermolon is made from a sand derivative, without the use of PFOA or PFAS. It conducts heat well, so your pan reaches the desired temperature sooner and at a lower heat setting. The cooking surface is reinforced for maximum strength and scratch resistance. The nonstick ceramic coating allows you to cook with less butter or oil and without sticking. The GreenPan Venice Pro collection is made from multilayer stainless steel, and the exterior surface is reinforced with Evershine. The interior cooking surface is coated with Thermolon Minerals Pro and is safe for use with metal utensils. The lid is made from glass and stainless steel. The handle is made from stainless steel and securely attached with rivets. Cookware is oven safe to 600F, lid is oven safe to 420F. Dishwasher safe, hand wash recommended.

This is the best sauce pan that I have ever bought. Nothing sticks to them. Jackie. US. Fri Apr 07 2023
