For the tea lover, La Roche has created a coffee mug with a filter and wood lid that is perfect for everyday use. The glass is thicker and heavier to retain heat and the handle is designed to comfortable to hold. The filter is designed for loose leaf tea. Made in France, the glass is fired at very high temperatures producing an exceptional quality glass that is crystal clear and durable. The pressure seam is sometimes visible, which is the mark left by opening the mold in which the glass is pressed. It is a characteristic of traditional french pressed machine glass.

I wanted mugs with covers and appreciate that it is microwave and dishwasher safe.
