I was very excited to get this as I love cheese! The entire look is great. The color and design, great! The 6 long forks, great! The weight of the base and the pot, great! It’s easy to use and makes a great centerpiece in your party buffet or conversation piece for an intimate gathering. It took me a while to order the fire gel. And I learned that it’s easier to melt cheese at room temperature instead of straight from the refrigerator. I like that there is a cap to put out the flame after use. I like that it came with 6 instead of just 4 forks. Use a mitt when touching the handle and lifting this coz it can get hot. I love the Swissmar cast iron pots! I already have the larger size that came with the fondue set, but I found that too big for a cheese fondue diner, so I now purchased the smaller size. It is perfect for 4 people, and otherwise identical in quality to the larger one. These pots clean very easily, and have excellent heat retention. The only downside is that the handle is also cast iron, so it gets hot. And the handle is too thick to fit in a pot handle sleeve, so you need an oven glove.. Madalina. Annandale, VA.
