Well made,sturdy,and looks just as pictured. Very heavy piece of furniture so you will need at least two strong people to move before you put the top piece or hutch on. Afterwards with furniture gliders it took three to move into its final placement. Also highly recommend securing it to the wall. The straps came with no need to buy them. It’s really heavy and could definitely hurt someone seriously if it would fall forward.
The color of black is not a traditional black but a dark blue gray so depending on the sun it goes from dark blue with a lot of light to a dark gray as the sun goes down. If you’re looking for a true black this is not.
Shipped in two pieces wrapped in a large sturdy cardboard which is great for protecting but crazy to unpack and get rid of. There is a lot of packing to get rid of.
All in all I like the cabinet. I do think it was worth the money if you’re looking for a forever piece. The color was a bit disappointing but worked out because1. I was not going to return it and 2. This blue is an accent color in my home so it works.. Pamela Ann. DE. Sun Oct 12 2025
