I already did this review on the first skillet that I received.. the first one arrived looking like it had been through a hurricane. The shipping box was fine, but the actual box that the skillet was in, was a mess! It was filthy dirty, smashed and torn . The skillet was scuffed, but it still did a nice job cooking. Have cooked many things with it and everything turns out great. You can keep the heat at a lower setting and it cooks evenly and doesn't burn. My family loved the pot roast that I made in it.. Mimi. Item has been backordered so I just received while on vacation; therefore, I have not had an opportunity to use it yet. Appears to be well constructed, has good weight to it for cooking, and stylish design. I thought it had a lid (had looked at several before buying), but due to size can improvise with a lid from my cookware. We really like our new fry pan. It is the nicest non-stick fry pan we have ever owned. We can cook long pieces of bacon along with eggs and potatoes at the same time. These are professional quality and look the part too! The finish is classic and the design bold. The feel of the pots and lids let you know they need to be cooked with. Love this beautiful little stock pot! It heats quickly and evenly. I did stir my sauce pretty regularly, but it did not stick to the bottom of the pan at all. I absolutely love this stone pot. Its non stick and my Jamaican oxtail stew came out delicious! I love the shape and how heavy it is. However it is a little too wide for my burner and the has more heat in the middle than the outer rim when cooking. I had to keep checkingadjusting it too make sure it was seated on the burner perfectly yet my stew came out amazing! I have a few pieces of cookware by Mepra, and I was not disappointed in this medium size soup and casserole pot. First off, my other soup pots are quite large whereas this one is the perfect size for cooking for two or even one. It’s extremely well made with a sturdy lid which fits tight and nice large handles for easing carrying. It distributes the heat evenly, and clean up is a breeze with the non-stick surface. So far so good! The pan is labeled as non stick but I didn’t know how true that would be given that it’s made of metal. However, it’s maiden use was cooking a ton of peppers and onions down for fajitas. I did use some oil but not as much as I expected to need to. It worked great! Clean up was a breeze. As for other reviewers saying that the handles remained cool to touch, that was not my experience and I definitely needed hot pads to maneuver. Being that they’re also metal, that was not my expectation that they would remain cool but I thought I would clarify given other comments. We went with the big one, the 12.5” and ours holds up to 6L per the dash marks. Only disadvantage is that it doesn’t come with a lid. This is a solid pan, very durable. Great weight to it but thin for the materials. I have been slowly collecting better quality pans and this is line with the other brands I use.
