This product may have minor visual imperfections, though this will not affect the product's performance. This may include discoloration, blemishes, or chips that have been enameled over. For centuries, cooks have taken advantage of the natural heat retention and redistribution properties of cast iron. Staub builds on this tradition with our enameled cast iron cookware. Black matte enamel inside and cooking surface creates a culinary advantage for better browning, braising, and roasting. Colorful enamel outside adds flare to your kitchen and table. Safe for use on all types of heat sources, including gas, electric, and induction, and oven safe up to 500F. Chip resistant.

This carbon steel wok might require an update to your will. Because family will want something special you made on your own, something you aged with each meal you cooked, something you imbued with a flavorful seasoning and a special character that’s uniquely your own. So you see, this classic cookware is destined to become your very own heritage piece, joining the ranks of that cherished teapot or timeless carving knife. No two uncoated carbon steel woks age quite the same way. While they begin their life in your kitchen shiny and bright, the more you use them, the more they evolve, developing a unique seasoning to the surface. Yes, the metal will darken. But do not be alarmed! This is all part of the process, which could take a few months before the pan turns completely black, like a cast iron pan, but without the bulk and brittleness common to that composition. Carbon steel is lighter, stronger, thinner, and smoother. And it’ll be in your kitchen for a long time—unless your heirs have something to say about it.

There's a reason the wok is one of the oldest tools in the kitchen: nothing else gets food from raw to seared to done that fast. The Babish 9.5-Inch Carbon Steel Wok is built for that kind of cooking — quick, hot, and a little bit theatrical. Carbon steel heats up fast and holds that heat evenly across the pan, so a handful of vegetables hits the surface and starts cooking immediately instead of leaching water while the pan struggles to catch up. Cook with it a few times and it starts working for you: the surface absorbs oil and builds a natural patina, releasing food more easily with every use. The flat-bottomed, hybrid shape means it sits securely on your stovetop like a skillet but still gives you the sloped walls of a proper wok for tossing and stirring. The long wood handle stays cool to the touch and is riveted on for a grip you can trust when the heat's up and the pan's moving. It's stovetop-flexible — gas, electric, ceramic, glass, or induction — and tough enough for the grill. Handwash it, dry it, maybe rub in a little oil, and it'll keep getting better with age. Good for the cook who wants restaurant-speed dinners on a weeknight, and a genuinely useful gift for anyone ready to move past the nonstick skillet. Andrew Rea is one part chef, one part filmmaker, and a generous dash of irreverent Youtube personality. Self-taught both behind and in front of the camera, his Youtube channel, Babish Culinary Universe, is enjoyed by millions of burgeoning chefs and foodies around the globe. This stainless steel wok set brings ease and convenience to your kitchen. The set features a non-stick surface for effortless cooking and quick cleaning. Crafted for use on various stovetops, including gas, induction, and electric, this versatile wok set makes a great addition to any kitchen!
