Really nice set, just what I was looking for. I purchased open box since I'm a bargain hound, and everything is perfect except for one issue. Apparently in pickup and delivery process, the box was roughly handled with the end result being the lovely, handled platter/tray, was in pieces. The box was a bit rough looking, but I was optimistic. So sad to hear the rattle of broken pieces when I picked up the box, and very sad that the platter didn't survive.. Judy. Vancouver, WA. I have never seen dishes packaged so well as these! The Star Series 24 Piece Dinnerware Set arrived today. Every dish was secured with protective packaging and all of them were in pristine condition.
