This traditional Mexican pottery is crafted and hand-painted by artisans in Mexico using traditional pottery technique. Each piece is highly textured and unique. These pieces are gorgeous, yet very functional. Due to the hand-crafted nature, each piece may have slight variances in size or design. These nuances add to the beauty of the product. Lead-free, dishwasher and are microwave safe.

I really like the artisan touch on these Camargue Handmade 12 dinner plates! The raised paint strokes makes you realize these took time and effort to make. They are solid and have some weight. The size is great for big meals or meals from a grill. The one thing that is a con in my opinion is when these were painted on the backside, the mechanism used to hold the plates while being painted leaves a gap or space where the paint does not appear on the back on both plates, so it looks a tad uncompleted on the back. This does not affect the appearance on the front, which is where you can see when using them though.
