I had wanted to replace my old roasting pan for a while and when I saw Anolon had theirs on sale, I jumped on it. I have had my Anolon cookware for 27 years and they are still in near perfect condition. This roaster is of the same high quality craftsmanship. Do yourself a favor and pick one up. I wanted to roast some chickens and didn't have a roaster. After looking at so many, I chose this. Love the size and the shape. Wish it had a lid !! Beware, the handles, even with that protected thick coating, Get Hot ! Some pans I have for the stovetop have the same coating and don't get hot at all. The rack and the roaster clean so easily ! am really impressed with that. The first couple chickens needed longer to cook than expected. The third try I increased the heat to 375 and covered it with foil lightly draped. It worked great ! I think darker pans with a coating need a bit more heat than stainless steel .
