Alva Frying Pans & Skillets

The Alva Forest Carbon Steel Frying Pan is for cooks who would rather build a nonstick surface than buy one. It arrives pre-seasoned and ready to use, and every meal after that deepens the patina into a release that keeps improving instead of wearing out — there is no coating here to scratch, blister or replace. Carbon steel heats fast and responds the instant you move the burner, which is what makes searing, sautéing and browning feel precise rather than approximate, and the acacia wood handle stays cool and comfortable in the hand. Works on gas, electric, ceramic, glass and induction. The wood handle is not oven safe, so keep this pan on the cooktop. Hand wash, dry immediately and wipe with a little oil to maintain the seasoning. Available in 8, 9.5 and 11 inches and as a 2-piece set. Made without intentionally added PFAS, PTFE or PFOA. Backed by a 10-year limited warranty, built in the Belgian tradition since 1949.

I haven’t actually used this pan yet, but it definitely seems high quality. It seems super sturdy and well-made. It also has a really nice weight to it, and I love the wood handle. I can’t wait to try it out!. Laura. Clanton, AL. Sat Jun 10 2023

This is a great pan. It heats evenly and is completely non stick for easy clean up. I thought it was an odd shape but it's perfect for eggs, bacon and everything else you would make in a circular frying pan. My only problem is the handle. I couldn't figure out how to attach it properly so it's wobbly when I move it, like it feels like it's going to fall off. I don't have any reason to move the pan when I'm cooking so it's not really an issue but I thought I should mention it.. Elle. Portland, OR. Thu May 11 2023

I like these pans a lot, they heat quickly, evenly and have a great non-stick finish (though I seasoned them when we first got them and dry them on the stove top with a little oil immediately after cleaning). That said, there are definite marks from cooking that I hope will fade with more use over time.. Andrea. East Rochester, NY. Tue Sep 15 2026

The Alva Maestro Stainless Steel Nonstick Frying Pan combines the best of two worlds: the durability and heat conductivity of a stainless steel exterior with the effortless release of a ceramic nonstick interior. The result is a pan that sears beautifully, releases cleanly, and delivers even heat from edge to edge — no burnt spots, no raw patches. Free of PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead, and cadmium. Oven-safe to 400°F and compatible with all stovetops including induction. Available in 8", 9.5", 11", and as a 3-piece set. Backed by a 10-year warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this pan for a few months now. It heats up evenly and food sticks less to it than my other stainless steel pans so I prefer to use it over those. The picture is after four rounds of smaller pancakes made in the pan with only one application of olive oil, whereas my other pans I had to keep adding oil or butter or it’s definitely going to stick. The handle is attached only on the outside and after having this option, I don’t know why all pans don’t do this. My other pans ALWAYS have food stuck around the rivets , this one doesn’t have that and it’s amazing.. Melaniej. Thu Apr 16 2026

I’ve been wanting a flat pan to cook pancakes. However, I tested it out with a fried egg first. It’s non stick so my egg never stick. Also you don’t have to wait long for it to heat up like my other pan . It’s was also very easy to clean after wards .. Donna. North Bergen, NJ. Thu Apr 20 2023
