I have had this crockpot for a while now and I do not like it at all. It has a hit spot that I thought was just my fault in some way so I have persevered and tried different recipes but everything seems to cook to fast and I am not sure I want to still use it. It does a pretty good job. Things to know 1 it does smoke up the house a little. I use it under my exhaust fan. 2 do not over load the wood. To much smoke is nasty.
