They are a nice large size, look exactly as pictured, and so far work great. Yes, they do leave debris behind where they sit, but that's been the nature of every mill I've ever owned, so not an issue for me. My only complaint so far is that I haven't found a way to adjust the pepper grind size, so it comes out a bit chunky.
