I was nervous at first, because the photos show the posts and headers as multiple pieces. However, we have had it standing in our deck for a few months now, and it holds up very well to rain and strong winds. It sagged in the middle at first, but when screwed in place to the deck, the header straightens right up. The brackets are heavy duty metal, fastened through pre-drilled holes in the treated wood. Great product we purchased the 12x20 said you will need 6 people for 14 hours, I did it in 16 hours by myself the only part I needed a quick hand with was putting up the 4 posts once I had those up I was off to the races directions were very clear few confusing parts but nothing that wasn't fixable, its sturdy and well built all screws lined up with pre tapped holes and it looks great at the campground, 3 hours after completing it we got a thunderstorm with heavy winds, we stayed dry under there, I was 100% leary of it coming from wayfair but I am impressed with it anyone complaining about it should just hire someone to build it because no issues seeing i did 98% of the building of it myself.. Our patio is very nice but it was in need of a 'structure'. I've always loved the tiki bar vibe and margaritas so we decided to turn this into just that. I read the reviews prior to purchasing and I'm glad I did. While most reviews were positive, there were some things mentioned that were a little concerning. Quite a few people mentioned they were missing parts/pieces, others mentioned it took more than 2 people to assemble as there are a lot of parts and pieces. Every time we moved on to another section I held my breath that everything would be there. Only my husband and I assembled this and it took us about 2 days. We didn't work on it consistently but it is quite a job. One thing you should note if you buy one...when looking at the instructions be sure to pay attention to the orientation of it in the pictures. It is sometimes hard to tell if you're looking at the front or back. We are still in the process of getting it set up the way we want (signage, chairs etc.) but look forward to entertaining and using it for such an event. Side note: Included should be a bottle opener AND paper towel holder but my paper towel holder was missing. I love this gazebo! It was not easy to put together, it took 4 of us about 7 hours. But I absolutely love it! It's well made and feels like it's going to last a long time. The 4 posts are not solid wood, they feel hollow and if you look close you can see the seams in the wood where they put it together. But I still love it. It shipped in 4 boxes, and you'll definitely need 2 people to move the boxes around. The hooks are nice, I have 2 battery operated pendant lights hanging from them and it looks great! I’m not sure we could be happier with our gazebo. After spending time budgeting and planning a build-from-scratch project, this became clear to us that it was more affordable and frankly better looking. We love the size of the posts and the look of the metal roof. We are looking to add lights and fan(s) in the near future. Ours is a 15x13. We would consider ourselves very handy with tools and construction. It took four of us (two in our twenties and two in our forties) a three day weekend to put this together. The hardest part was the height of the roof and the reach needed to attach some screws. None of the work is challenging. It just requires some basic construction skills and teamwork (patience)..
