This table is exactly what we were looking for. We love that the extra leaf folds into the table for storage. It took us approximately four hours to put together, and we have put together a lot of flat pack furniture. Everything fit as described and the instructions had very good illustrations, so if you follow them you should have no problems with assembly. All the assembly parts were well labeled and packaged. Because of the footprint that the table base has, you have to be very specific about where the chairs are placed. if you want to put chairs on the ends, those chairs will not fit well because of the necessary placement of the side chairs. I love this table. It pairs perfectly with the mix of chairs we already had. It's a touch narrower than I expected, but honestly the length more than makes up for it. We can seat everyone comfortably and still have room down the middle for serving dishes, and the slimmer profile actually leaves more walking space in our open-plan kitchen.
