We’ve actually purchased this bed frame twice this year! We first bought the queen size for ourselves and were very happy with it. A couple of months later, we decided to upgrade to a king-size bed, so we gave the queen frame to our son and purchased the exact same bed frame again in king size. We love the quality. It works with our new 16-inch-high mattress and adjustable base, although the headboard does look a little short with such a tall mattress and base. The bed is really pretty, sturdy, solid wood, but it’s a few things that prevent me from giving 5 stars. No instructions, took some time to find them online. The headfootboardsside rails don’t perfectly line up, which bothers the perfectionist in me. Not enough screws included to screw in both sides of each slat, had to do every other. went to together pretty easy with 2 persons. good quality, seems sturdy. Nice wood, solid. As another review stated, need a screw gun to secure bed slats much easier and faster. All hardware included except a philips head screwdriver that you won't need if you use a screw gun for slats only. The bed took a bit to put together, but was overall straightforward with its directions. The materials are nice and it looks beautiful when finished.
