Once the blanket is covered, every square centimeter of the surface of the body feels as if it is being gently pressed, as if it is being surrounded by countless hands. According to some of those who have used it, is a throwback to being a baby and being hugged by your parents.

Midwest weather has a special talent for chilling you straight to the bone, even inside a toasty house. And on those snowy, gray weekends, there’s truly nothing better than sinking into a movie, drifting into the occasional nap, and wrapping yourself in this phenomenal weighted robe/blanket. The design has a definite Obi‑Wan energy — hooded, with those dramatic bishop‑style sleeves. Just note that because of the cut, it mainly covers the front of the body, with just a small shoulder "shroud" in the back. And with the weighted construction, it’s not the robe you wander around the house in; the balance isn’t quite right for that due to the lack of back coverage. This is a dedicated couch‑potato companion — a stay‑put, snuggle‑in, winter‑weekend kind of piece.. Maria. Sylvania, OH. Thu May 07 2026

This is a nice weighted blanket. I like that it comes in larger sizes to cover the whole bed. The cover is super soft and comfortable. The insert slides around inside of it a bit, like a comforter in a duvet. Sometimes we have to straighten it back out, but it's not bad. I do like that it comes off for you to wash it.
