Overall this is a great piece. Instructions are good, build time is not bad at all and only takes one person for 98% of it. Well packaged. Once built, it's quite sturdy. The wood tone is sharp, great contrast to the black. The gold handles miss the mark. The gold is incredibly bright and brassy yellow, dated. If they had gone with a softer tone of gold this piece would've been better. But it's an easy fix. The doors aren't the easiest to open and close, they feel a little cheap, and a few pieces of the hardware came broken (cheap quality). We didn't install the clothing bar, we have other plans for use of this piece. Overall a it's a pretty good value and a piece I'd recommend for a cheap yet functional and fairly stylish option.. I’m quite happy with this door. Delivery took longer than expected but that was the only con. My handyman and his helper installed it in under two hours. The first 30 minutes were spent laying out the hardware, making sure all the right pieces were sent and then meticulously measuring. They said it was a straightforward installation. I need to pull the leading edge of the door out when i close it because of the shoe (aka, baseboard) but that’s easily done. I can find no reason to give this door less than 5 stars.. Christina. I love my new louvier bi-fold doors! I ordered two of the 24" X 80" doors to replace my old, metal doors in the utility closet. They look beautiful. They feel smooth, soft, and don't need to be painted. They also glide open nicely and don't need a track at the bottom of the doors like my old one. They open quietly without any problems.
