This Dakota Ottoman is actually pretty perfect in my living room. Wood came perfectly undamaged with beautiful texture. Stool is great, definitely could be a bit softer, but still really really good. Only comment is I wish the bottom of it had wheels. The foam padding on the bottom of the table disconnects a bit if you slide it. Otherwise great great great option, definitely glad I bought!. this is an excellent piece. The construction is amazing. They only had to put on the legs and the four knobs. I personally think the piece should have been 400.00 to 500.00 less when I compared it with other pieces. I only paid this much because it fit perfect and the style is what I needed. This is a great product. Drawers are dovetailed, which was unexpected. Comes assembled which I didn't expect given my previous Blu Dot orders. Quality is a lot higher than other Blu Dot products I've owned (sofa, desk). Some panel gaps were slightly off but they can be easily adjusted with the hinges. Walnut on "dark walnut" is actually fairly light. I was surprised at how light it was. I had to double check a couple times that it wasn't "light walnut". It looks great though, but may be hard to quite match if I get another walnut piece from a different brand.
