Only used one time so far I think overall it will be great you must hold the the pilot light down for 5 or 6 minutes, at least to get it to light up. For me, the installation was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The unit I have is propane. Time will tell, but overall, I think its going to be great for heating up my small cabin. What a nice unit! It was easy to install. The control knob was stuck at first but I was patient and tapped it lightly and jiggled it and just like that it, started to function properly. This unit came from China so I figure the control knob was jammed due to shipping such a great distance to Kentucky. I love the black with the blue flame. It heats great. No problemo. We had our contractor install two of these heaters with the covered patio extension we built last spring. This was a great addition to my sunroom to replace my older 10K btu model that couldn’t keep up with the extreme colder temps (20°Fs and below). This space is not heated so my Mr. Heater acts as the primary source. I only have to turn the setting to 3 to heat the room and then down to 2. The thermostat does a good job shutting the unit on and off as needed.
