This fireplace has been such a wonderful addition to my home. I am disabled was able to do the very small amount of “installation” required by myself -one has to screw the legs onto the unit. I ordered the 50in linear electric fireplace for my bedroom and I love it. This is the second electric fireplace I have gotten and the other one I got was by a different brand and while I really like it, I like this one even more for its very subtle controls. I had to really zoom in so you can see them. From standing height you cannot see the switch and you cannot see the blacked out controls on the face of the fireplace. Assembly was taking it out of the packaging and putting on the legs. I ordered it in the cream color which is perfect for our décor and more modernistic defining a farmhouse or costal aspect than the traditional black country look. Even though it is still summer, we have been enjoying the colorful flame effects less the heat aspect!
