Easy to assemble- the pickets don’t click in as hard as they make it out, just kind of go in. Haven’t put it in the ground yet, so I’ll come back to update. Update Welp- set aside some time for this project! I strung out and sprayed a line first. To be fair, I have rocky soil, I had to use a hammer and piece of rebar to prime holes, then used some extra brackets to firmly tie it all together. When you’re pounding them in, don’t pound too hard, or they’ll deform. It’s a nice sturdy fence, keeps my cavalier in the yard and looks good, wears well. While less work (I think) than burying wood posts and wrapping and running a big store vinyl fence- it’s still work. Two man project, imo. Check your level on your gate too- or your latch won’t work. Fairly easy to put together. I'm using it as panels to block where I'm building a pond, to keep my dogs out while it's being dug out. Used this to complete a screen around our HVAC and backup generator as required by the township. This is expensive compared to other screen options. However, this screen is much more substantial than any of the alternatives I've seen. Others are perhaps 1/8" thick, bend like cardboard, and can be cut with a utility knife. This is almost 1/2" thick, almost impossible to bend, and requires a table saw or circular saw to cut. The thickness allowed us to construct a removable screen and frame, which will make servicing our two units as needed much easier for the HVAC and propane companies.. James. PA. Thu Dec 25 2025
