Ok, this is just the “coolest” fan…..ever! Looks and operates exactly as it is described. Delivery box and contents arrived in perfect condition. It is pretty heavy! I’ve put up my share of ceiling fans, but opted for a professional installer this time. Glad I did, as he built some much needed support beams in the ceiling, to ensure it was stable. Plan on buying a large medallion to affix to the ceiling. Looks better, IMO… The electrician even needed my assistance to complete the install, so be sure to have some help. Totally worth it! It's a beautiful fan! We bought two, one for our bedroom and one for a back room that does not get much air circulation. The glass dome is very pretty and filters the light nicely. Make sure you get smaller bulbs with lower watts, standard light bulbs do not fit within the dome and higher wattage bulbs (over 60w) produced rather harsh light.
