Before I say anything about this fan let me tell you to get a 4” junction box and not the standard 3.5” in most homes. Just save yourself the time and get ahead of that! The fan was easy to put up. After doing it I would only change one thing. I would take out the screws for the blades before getting the fan 15 feet up in the air. You’ll save your shoulders from the burn! The fan pushed a good amount of air and is super quiet! I also appreciate all of the extra parts for multiple installation scenarios. This is a high quality fan light with good features. The light is adjustable in both brightness and warm/cool so I can set it exactly how I like it. Love that feature. It looks really beautiful in my bedroom. The fan puts off a very nice breeze and is very quiet. The downsides: my old traditional ceiling fan had separate switches for the fan and the light, and this fan doesn't work with the second separate fan switch. Also if you turn it off using the wall switch, it preserves the last light setting but not the fan setting, so you would have to turn the fan back on with the remote any time you use the switch. Shout out to the manufacturer and to wayfair. There was an issue with my order missing some of the screws. They resolved my issue quickly and hassle-free. I really appreciate it.. Diana. This light fixture/ fan combination is beautiful and functional. It clears the air very quickly when reversed, but without the noise of our older fan. Be careful to choose bulbs with enough lumens to light up the area (we had to change from our original bulbs at 250 lumens to some that look the same, but give approx. 800 lumens). This fan is great! Looks as advertised. Hooking up to the ceiling was a bit tricky as with most flush mount fans. Redoing a room and thought this would be the perfect fan for low 94” ceilings. It’s definitely the vibe I was going for. The fan blades and the casing are different colors, though, so be aware. The blades are reddishorange and the enclosure is deep brown. It’s a bit tricky to install so if you’re not handy, it might be infuriating.
