I bought this bed due to it not needing a box spring, I tend to prefer not having one, so that is a nice perk. The platform definitely does its job and seems pretty good. I love that it has Velcro to keep everything from sliding around. The bed itself is a small pain to put together but not too too bad. I will say, I included photos because while the bed is very pretty, it really doesnt look a ton like the photo on the listing. this is the second item I have ordered and doesn’t look anything like the pictures. On the thumbnail it looks very posh and lux, but its very basic in real life. Not to say it looks bad, because its still pretty, but don’t be expecting the look of the photo. I do like that the headboard is tall enough that even if you have lots of pillows, theres still room for the headboard to show. It certainly isnt the sturdiest bed lve ever had, its given me a couple of pauses so far but no actual issues. Came in one box very quickly and everything was packed in the storage compartment at the bottom of the bed...The bed is pretty straightforward to put together - took me by myself about 1 hour total and its pretty solid and sturdy. My son loves that metal/faux leather/wood look and its nice to have outlets and space for phone etc at the top of the bed and storage at the bottom. I am extremely happy with this bed frame! It arrived well-packaged and all of the parts were clearly labeled, which made assembly much easier than I expected. While it did take some time to put together, the instructions were straightforward and everything fit together properly. The storage drawers are one of my favorite features. They slide smoothly and provide a surprising amount of extra storage space for blankets, sheets, seasonal clothing, and other items that would normally clutter up a bedroom. The built-in headboard shelving is also incredibly convenient for keeping everyday essentials within reach. The LED lighting adds a nice modern touch and creates a cozy atmosphere in the room, especially in the evenings. This was actually very simple to put together. I did it 99 by myself. I did have help standing up the head board once I finished that. I feel that it is good quality the metal is sturdy, the boards are thick. I really Like the finish that I was originally very iffy on. I was also able to find matching dressers! Thy are a hair darker but still look nice. I think the whole thing took about 2 hours by myself. Unboxing thought took about and hour and that was crazy haha.
