This canopy bed was easy to put together and is very pretty and seems sturdy. We are using it with an adjustable base, so we did not attach the wooden slats. I included close up pictures of the headboard and other pieces to give a better idea of the coloring. The headboard “weathered” look isn’t my favorite, but it’s not that noticeable with other things on the bed. Overall, I would recommend this bed frame to anyone looking for a simple canopy bed.. This bed is as pictured but I thought the poles would be wider, and sturdy. I was worried it would be flimsy. The instructions only had pictures, no words and a video would have been helpful, but my husband is very handy so figured it out. Only issue he had was many of the wooden slats weren't labeled, some are different than others, and certain holes weren't pre-drilled, so gave it 4 stars. It took us a couple of hours to complete.
